Dan Lawrence was tonight's big winner. He overcame a short stack deficit against new-comer Don Jones. Dan had finished in second place twice, most recently having a chip advantage when heads-up play began. Perhaps his new strategy is to be chip underdog.

The aforementioned Don Jones took 2nd place. Ernie Smith finished in 3rd, and second-time player Gayle Miller finished in 4th.

Last month?s winner, Rod Samuelson went from worst to first when he was the first out in this tournament after winning it all last month.
